Celebrate Valentine's with a Home Tour & Cocktail Party at Sandpiper, Krisel's Iconic Desert Oasis

Celebrate Valentine's Day with an evening filled with love, admiration, and midcentury enchantment as we honor one of William Krisel's masterpieces—Sandpiper Circle 3. Join us for an exclusive tour of this iconic desert community, where you'll explore the beautifully preserved homes and enjoy twilight cocktails and entertainment poolside.

Built between 1958 and 1969, the Sandpiper community is a testament to Krisel's architectural brilliance and his unique vision for desert living. Sandpiper Circle 3, perched at the highest elevation within the community, features 24 homes arranged in a pinwheel around lush, landscaped grounds. This thoughtful design maximizes mountain views and privacy, with each home's front patio facing the central common area, free from the sight of cars, garages, or overhead wires.

Highlights of Sandpiper Circle 3 include:

Krisel's design earned the Sandpiper community a landscaping award from the American Institute of Architects, and the homes themselves stand as time capsules of midcentury Modern design. With post-and-beam construction, extensive use of glass, and the iconic “all-electric kitchens” that earned each home a Live Better Electrically gold medallion, these residences and grounds captivated celebrated midcentury photographer Julius Shulman.

As the sun sets, DJ Modgirl will take you on a musical journey through the sounds of the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond, adding a nostalgic touch to this unforgettable evening.

Don't miss this chance to immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Sandpiper Circle 3—a true desert oasis that continues to inspire and captivate.
