The swank cool of 1970s Desert Modernism meets laid-back luxury in this expansive, light-filled home in prestigious Indian Canyons. This late Modernist home had lost its luster but got a glow-up.
Come tour Desert Lanai 4, an intimate condominium community designed by famed midcentury architect Charles Du Bois featuring his famous A-frame roofline.
Join us at Trio for the inaugural Fall Dining Series, a curated sampling of local favorite restaurants housed in iconic buildings serving chef-prepared menus designed especially for Modernism Week.

Modernism Week highlights midcentury and modern architecture, art, interior design, landscape design, and vintage culture in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. The signature 11-day festival is offered each February, and a smaller 4-day festival takes place each October. Both festivals feature an array of compelling tours, educational programs, and special events. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit Modernism Week (a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization) and other local preservation, neighborhood, and community groups.

Discover Palm Springs’ world-famous collection of modernist homes on the city’s leading architecture tour, Modernism Week Architecture Tours. Our tours offer the ultimate experience that takes guests on a fun, fascinating, and inspiring exploration of the Palm Springs’ neighborhoods. Each tour showcases outstanding works of modern architecture by dozens of great American designers. Seasonal tours run October through May in a comfortable, climate-controlled 22-seat mini-coach.
