Originally conceived in 1961 and completed in 1964, this exclusive community of just 38 residences is a striking example of Hollywood Regency architecture. Set on five impeccably landscaped acres, the Colony features three pools, three original laundry rooms, abundant green space and more than a dozen mature citrus trees.

Arranged in a distinctive horseshoe layout, Canyon Country Club Colony was part of the original 1960s master plan for Canyon Country Club, now known as Indian Canyons Golf Resort. Most of the homes border the historic North Course, Palm Springs’ first 18-hole golf course and a longtime favorite of midcentury Hollywood icons such as Franck Sinatra, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, and Walt Disney.

Tucked away in the Indian Canyons neighborhood, this hidden gem is the only community in Palm Springs that still carries the Canyon Country Club name.

Tour highlights Include:

  • Panoramic 180-degree views of the golf course and the San Jacinto mountains
  • Iconic 10-foot walls of Maltese-pattern screen block surrounding carports, with additional breezeblock designs throughout the property, 13 different styles of original breeze blocks are feature on the property
  • Signature leafy cast-iron columns on each back patio, New Orleans inspired details brought to life by architect Raymond Levanas, AIA, drawing on his earlier career as a Warner Bros., set designer
  • Expansive glass sliders leading from every bedroom to four private patios, capturing the essence of indoor-outdoor desert living
  • The original dusty pink entrance sign, still perched om its classic stone wall
  • Each of the 38 residences feature two or 3 bedrooms, two complete bathrooms, some units with fireplaces, private patios with expansive views and individual golf cart storage units.
