Event tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and all ticket sales are final. If an event is canceled by the organizer, refunds will be issued. Ticket buyer takes responsibility to ensure correct event/date/time has been purchased. Purchased tickets are considered as donations if unused.
Ticket buyers who accepted Refund Protection Coverage at checkout from Booking Protect and who are unable to use tickets for a reason covered by Booking Protect, must apply to Booking Protect directly to request refund no later than 45 days after booked event.

The Vintage Car Show, Modernism Yard Sale and the Vintage Trailer Show allow pets that are on a leash. At the Vintage Trailer Show, pets are not allowed in the trailers. Each event activity may have additional information about pet policies, please review before purchasing tickets.

AIA CE credits are available to AIA members by registering at the time of ticket purchase.
Qualifying activities will have a questionnaire at check-out. Provide your full name and AIA member number exactly as they appear on your membership card in order to receive credit from the recording agency. You can find qualifying activities by using the category dropdown box and selecting "AIA Continuing Education" on our ticketing page.

Modernism Week is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the education and celebration of modernist architecture, design and culture. The organization hosts multiple annual events, as well as occasional special group travel opportunities both domestic and abroad. Additionally, regular tours operate seasonally through Architecture Tours by Modernism Week where visitors enjoy a firsthand look at some of the most iconic homes and buildings in Palm Springs lead by expert tour guides.
Our curated private groupo travel experiences offer architectural trips at points across the United States as well as locations in Europe and beyond. Travel experiences are offered periodically and their destinations are unique to each.
In 2025, Modernism Week celebrates 20 years as an organization devoted to sharing the cultural impact of modernism, preservation, community engagement and supporting the future of design through scholarship programs.

Modernism Week events and tours take place in the Palm Springs area of Southern California, just a few hours east of Los Angeles. As a center of the development and advancements made in the mid-twentieth century modernist architecture, as well as its historic notoriety as a desert oasis and Hollywood playground, Palm Springs is home to world-renowned buildings designed by revered architects and frequented by entertainment icons of the 20th and 21st centuries.
As part of the greater Coachella Valley, Modernism Week's events include activities in Palm Springs and in neighboring cities including Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and La Quinta. Each of the desert cities offer something worth discovering that visitors won't find anywhere else.

The annual Modernism Week events that take place in February and October offer a wide range of activities that are educational, entertaining, and inspiring – and they can only be found in Palm Springs. Tickets are sold separately for each event, allowing guests to create their own, customized Modernism Week experience.
Visitors can walk through the interiors of iconic homes and tour historic neighborhoods made famous by the architects that designed them and famous people who lived there. Architectural bus tours across the city are led by knowledgeable and entertaining guides that provide the history and stories behind the buildings that established Palm Springs as a center of midcentury innovation and design.
Visitors attend engaging lectures and presentations by leading architects and designers presenting the past, present, and future of modernism. Film screenings offer a personal glimpse into the lives and happenings of modernists and their work, many of which are only available thanks to the preservation efforts of historians.
Modernism Week continues into the evening with dinners and cocktail hours at restaurants and historic homes. Our popular opening night party featuring live music, food, drinks, and dancing is a hot-ticket item that starts the celebration off right every year. Attend the Modernism Show and don’t miss the Vintage Trailer Show on the second weekend. There's always more to do at Modernism Week!
