Step into the glamour of old Hollywood for a one-of-a-kind evening at historic Sand Acre Estate, one of Palm Springs’ most storied private estates.

This special Modernism Week celebration evokes the era when Marilyn Monroe and Hollywood’s brightest stars made Palm Springs their desert playground. Guests will enjoy cocktails, cuisine, music and live entertainment throughout the estate’s spectacular indoor and outdoor spaces, culminating in a special performance celebrating Marilyn Monroe and the music, style and irresistible glamour that made her an icon.

Sand Acre provides an extraordinary setting for the evening. The sprawling estate, with its lush grounds, swimming pool, mountain views and classic Palm Springs atmosphere, offers a rare opportunity to experience the kind of private desert retreat that attracted Hollywood celebrities throughout the midcentury era.

Expect an elegant but playful evening inspired by Marilyn: glamorous cocktails, delicious food, stylish surroundings and a few surprises along the way. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion and embrace their own interpretation of midcentury Palm Springs glamour.

Guests will experience selected areas of the estate as they enjoy the evening’s festivities. Come ready to sip, dine, mingle and celebrate Marilyn under the Palm Springs stars.
