Tour six Palmer & Krisel-designed residences, showcasing original details, authentic restorations and inspired Modern adaptations.

In 1957, Twin Palms helped change the face of Palm Springs. Now, 70 years later, this legendary neighborhood opens its doors for two special Modernism Week events: the daytime home tour and the Twilight Cocktail Party, tickets sold separately.

Designed by Dan Palmer and William Krisel for the Alexander Construction Company, Twin Palms helped define Desert Modernism—with soaring Butterfly roofs, walls of glass and effortless indoor-outdoor living.

The Daytime Home Tour

Six remarkable residences. One iconic neighborhood.

Explore five Palmer & Krisel homes plus an Ocotillo Lodge condominium, showcasing Krisel’s extraordinary range—from Gable and Sun Flap forms to the unmistakable Butterfly roofs.

The homes range from authentic restorations to contemporary adaptations, while tour materials and guides reveal architectural details, interiors and stories. Tour the museum-quality exhibit “William Krisel’s Twin Palms” located at Ocotillo Lodge to dive deeper.
