Go behind the scenes of three major exhibitions exploring the legacy of architect Paul R. Williams. Curators from Getty, LACMA, and USC Fisher Museum come together for a panel discussion exploring their respective exhibitions, the research and discoveries that shaped them, and the connections across their projects.

Moderated by Gary Riichirō Fox, Assistant Curator, Getty Research Institute, the conversation offers a unique look at how three institutions are bringing new perspectives to Williams’s groundbreaking career and enduring influence.

Panelists: LeRonn P. Brooks, Curator of the African American Art History Initiative, Modern and Contemporary Collections, Getty Research Institute; Valery Augustin, AIA Professor of Practice, University of Southern California School of Architecture; Sarah Locke, Architectural Historian & Curatorial Assistant, Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

A VIP Meet + Greet Reception follows the presentation in the museum's sculpture garden, adjacent to the theater. Enjoy wine, passed hors d'oeuvres, and a 'grazing table' of charcuterie and cheeses prepared by Chef Gabriel Wu's restaurant, Liv's Cafe, and meet the panelists, additional exhibition curators, Getty Council members, guests, and other Paul R. Williams enthusiasts.
