WORKSHOP–Vera: Past, Present & Future–A Journey Through Color, Style and Legacy

Join us for a journey into the world of Vera Neumann, the visionary modernist designer who infused everyday life with bold color, pattern and joy. This special program and hands-on workshop will explore her extraordinary past, her living present, and her promising future through film, dialogue and interactive experience.

Fred Salaff, Vera’s nephew and longtime collaborator, will reflect on more than 30 years at The Vera Companies, sharing stories from his travels with Vera around the world. A highlight will be the screening of Ibiza in the Sun, a newly remastered 20-minute documentary created by Fred, chronicling his journey with Vera to the artistic enclave of Ibiza—a trip that profoundly shaped her vision.

Greg Sharp, President and Brand Manager of Vera Neumann, Inc., will bring the story forward, sharing insights from over 20 years of guiding Vera’s legacy. He will discuss the brand’s enduring relevance in fashion, art, and design today, along with its exciting new directions.

The program will conclude with an immersive scarf-tying experience, where attendees can handle vintage and modern Vera scarves while learning both classic and contemporary tying techniques. You’ll go home with your very own Vera scarf as a keepsake!

This event is a rare opportunity to experience Vera’s work in full dimension—past, present and future—celebrating an artist whose vision remains timelessly modern.

Capacity for this workshop is very limited.

Following the workshop will be a book signing for the new publication, Vera: Art, Adaptation, & the American Dream (Vera Neumann, Inc 2025) by Greg Sharp with Fred Salaff.
