Slip into something fabulous and join us for an unforgettable evening at the legendary Palm Springs home of Liberace, the world’s most flamboyant showman. For two dazzling hours, you’ll sip sparkling cocktails and savor elegant hors d’oeuvres while basking in the glitz and glamour of midcentury Palm Springs.
Adding to the sparkle, a Liberace look-alike will entertain guests, bringing to life the wit, charm and signature style of the entertainer himself. Imagine the mirrored pianos, the candelabras, the rhinestones—this is Palm Springs nostalgia at its most extravagant.
The event takes place at Piazza di Liberace located in the premier Palm Springs neighborhood of Old Las Palmas. This stunning home was built in 1951 by John H. “Jack” Slaten and purchased by Liberace in 1966 as his primary residence until 1974. The entertainer remodeled the house extensively, embracing the over-the-top Hollywood Regency style for which he became famous. Of the three Palm Springs residences once owned by Liberace, Piazza di Liberace is the only one that still closely resembles its appearance during his years of ownership—making this cocktail party a truly exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step inside the showman’s dazzling world.
Celebrate the glamour, music and theatrical flair that made Liberace a legend in the very home where he once entertained. Guests are encouraged to dress with a nod to Liberace’s style—think sequins, rhinestones, metallics and a touch of over-the-top glamour.
Because too much of a good thing… is wonderful.
A portion of the proceeds for this event will benefit the Palm Springs American Legion 519.
