FIRST TIME AT MODERNISM WEEK: San Diego’s own Madame LeRoux takes the stage with the Gand Band—voted Coachella Valley’s Best Band four years running—for a high-energy night of revelry, rhythm, and irresistible grooves. First you’ll enjoy cocktails in the lobby, then head into the theater for a live show celebrating that fantastic music of New Orleans. Come in your best modernist attire, or don your beads, sequins, and feathers, sing along, dance in the aisles, and fully embrace the spirit of Mardi Gras.

Adding fuel to the fire, San Diego saxophone powerhouse Walter Gentry joins the celebration—and he is truly a party unto himself. Known for his larger-than-life stage presence, Gentry channels the raw energy of classic R&B, New Orleans funk, and rock ’n’ roll. When he steps forward, the room ignites, turning great songs into full-blown celebrations.

Behind the crown, Madame LeRoux is Michele Lundeen, the multi-award-winning San Diego songstress known as “The Queen of Steam.” Wherever she performs, the party follows—and this night will be no exception.
