Each year, St. Theresa School's 6th & 7th grade students build models and create paintings, learning about Palm Springs Modern Architecture landmarks, exhibited by and with the students and PS ModCom.

View the extraordinary St. Theresa School Modernism Projects on display in the School's gymnasium. This year the sixth-grade class will build and exhibit their own scale models of key buildings and homes designed by E. Stewart Williams, FAIA, renowned Palm Springs Modern architect. Alongside the models see thoughtful paintings depicting E. Stewart Williams's designs created by the seventh-grade class. Students will be on hand to share and discuss their projects.

St. Theresa School Modernism Projects are made possible by a partnership with Palm Springs Modern Committee's Education Committee. This non-profit organization conducts in-class instruction and workshops. The students receive special instruction focused on the architect's important body of work, primarily in Palm Springs. To assist the students, PS ModCom donates educational tools on the topic of modernism including books, maps and a Palm Springs Modern Architecture mobile application.
