Step through the original riveted door and tour Arthur Elrod's 1968 interior design studio, the space that helped shape Palm Springs Modernism and its design community. Arthur Elrod arrived in Palm Springs in 1947 and spent the next two decades defining Desert Modernism, shaping interiors alongside architects including John Lautner, William Cody, Donald Wexler and Hugh Kaptur. This studio, designed by Elrod himself in 1968, remains one of the last spaces directly connected to his practice, and the entry door he specified is still on it today.

Cool off and refresh at our Hydration Station, open Thursday through Sunday from 12 PM–3 PM, across both weekends. Explore the grounds at your own pace; complimentary spa water is provided. Bring your own bottle to fill up and stay hydrated as you tour the space.
