On the ancestral lands of the Agua Caliente tribe (and the location of the nation’s largest Indian land-lease development) these Midcentury Modern homes created by a bevy of talented architects are striking with their “swinging 60’s” architectural flair. This Indian Canyons Neighborhood, originally called the Canyon Country Club, is located on Palm Springs’ first 18-hole golf course, long associated with legendary Frank Sinatra because of his celebrity golf tournaments held here. Many of these impressive homes have unique concrete screen block designs and creative desert landscaping. This country club development became a magnet for the rich and famous, including Walt Disney, TV icons Chuck “Rifleman” Connors and David “Fugitive” Janssen. Our early pioneer dreamers envisioned a Garden of Eden here, and today it truly is.
