Originating in the 1930s with the luxurious El Mirador Hotel as its centerpiece, the posh Movie Colony Neighborhood became the private refuge of Hollywood Royalty–Cary Grant, Gloria Swanson, Tony Curtis, Roger Moore, Marilyn Monroe, among others.
