Join us for a festive cocktail party in honor of the one year anniversary of the Trini Lopez Museum, celebrating the life and legacy of the iconic folk-rock musician and Latino cultural trailblazer. The exhibit was created by Gary Gand with memorabilia from his personal collection, costumes loaned by the Lopez family, plus rare record albums and singles from the Ebersole-Hughes collection and original artwork by Shag. Discover the story of Trini’s remarkable career: his friendships with legends Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, starring in films including the Dirty Dozen and how he became a beloved part of the Palm Springs scene. Attendees will receive a special gift, plus meet members of the Lopez family, My Name is Lopez documentary producers Joan and Gary Gand of the Gand Band. Plus a pop-up live music performance! A portion of the proceeds will go to the Palm Springs Historical Society.
