The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation will host its Retro Martini Party at the Palm Springs Air Museum's Pacific Hangar featuring Walt Disney's Grumman Gulfstream "Mickey Mouse One."

The one, the only, the original! Grab your exclusive first-class VIP ticket and celebrate the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation's 30th Anniversary with a special Retro Martini Party event! This year's exciting venue is the Pacific Hangar at the Palm Springs Air Museum, featuring "Mickey Mouse One," Walt Disney's private but impressively large 16-seat Grumman Gulfstream 1 airplane! “The Mouse” will be center stage in the Pacific Hangar and just for this event PSPF partygoers will be invited onboard to tour the interior of this historic plane, as well as a curated exhibit featuring rare and personal artifacts from onboard!

Mickey Mouse One is an especially inspiring preservation story: the plane was in near-derelict condition and, with the assistance of the Walt Disney Archives, the Palm Springs Air Museum, and the Phoenix Air Group, has recently been lovingly restored to its former glory. Expect a preservation, aviation and mouse-themed evening that will include special tours of Mickey Mouse One and a look back at all of PSPF's incredible accomplishments over the last three decades. Special after-hours access to much of the rest of the Air Museum will be included.

As Palm Springs insiders already know, some of the most strikingly scenic views of the San Jacinto Mountains are from the east side of the airport, and when the hangar doors open (and with a firm grasp on your delicious martini), the atmospheric effect is magical! Remember, the Retro Martini Party is THE event to show off your best vintage attire and this year's fashion theme is "The 1960s Golden Age of Air Travel."

The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to educate and promote public awareness of the importance of preserving the historical resources and architecture of the city of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley area.” PSPF offers free membership as a public benefit.
