The Modern Garden Tour is a perennial favorite among Modernism Week attendees and sells out quickly. A variety of six landscapes will be explored, from the exotic and lush to the Japanese-inspired to a Mediterranean Villa. Along the way, the tour will visit a scenic array of Palm Springs’ most interesting neighborhoods.

In the Historic Tennis Club, a lush garden hugs the mountains. Upon entering this exotic garden, one is immediately struck by the disappearing wall, which opens to the Shangri-La-inspired grounds and a dramatic waterfall.

At a William F. Cody-designed home, a Japanese-inspired dry landscape and an organic ribbon of green wrapping around the pool reconnect the architecture and landscape while introducing a contemporary expression of desert living.

Andreas Hills is home to a magnificent Mediterranean Villa and landscape, graced by an abundance of mature olive trees, stone terraces, and gurgling fountains, surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains.
